Government That Works For You.

Government shouldn’t feel complicated, distant, or hard to navigate—it should work for the people it serves. My commitment is simple: make local government more accessible, more transparent, and more responsive to every resident in Arlington.

Accessibility isn’t just about buildings—it’s about making sure people can understand what’s happening, participate in decisions, and have confidence their voice matters. Too often, processes are confusing, communication is unclear, and residents feel left out. That has to change.

My approach starts with listening. I will prioritize regular, meaningful engagement through town halls, community events, and direct conversations—not just during election season, but consistently. I’m also focused on simplifying how residents interact with the city by improving communication, cutting through unnecessary bureaucracy, and making services easier to access—whether online or in person.

At the same time, we have to be realistic. Budget constraints, outdated systems, and resistance to change are real challenges. But those are not excuses—they are opportunities for smarter, more efficient leadership. By leveraging partnerships, improving digital access, and ensuring alternatives exist for those who need them, we can build a system that works for everyone.

This campaign is about bringing government back to the people—where it belongs. When residents are informed, engaged, and empowered, we make better decisions as a city. And together, we can build a more open, accountable, and connected Arlington.
